Family Travel Photo Session
Family Photographer Travel Photo session
Sometimes I feel like the luckiest person on the planet when I arrive to a photography session and the family is just so much fun and full of love and great energy. This travel photoshoot in Hawaii did not disappoint. The entire family (including the parents) were are such free spirits. They jumped in the water, explored, told stories and we explored the jungle together.
As a photographer based in Colorado, it’s not often I get to explore beaches and jungles during my sessions! So this travel session was extra special fro my first trip to Hawaii. It definitely gave me the itch to travel!

She said it's been challenging showing her kids enough stress so they take it seriously, but not letting on as to just how scared she is so she doesn't send them into a panic. It's a delicate balance keeping a household feeling safe and happy.

Erin | #PorchProject
Erin and her fam are spending time baking, enjoying family, surviving, and working. She said it's been challenging trying to squeeze everything in and the anxiety of the unknown.
Katie | #PorchProject
Katie said the outside chaos has forced so much wonderful family time. She and her amazing family have been hanging out around the kitchen and unfinished basement. They have a ping pong table, a lot of gym stuff and an art corner. They also hang out with their 3 Frechies, Lady Annabelle (1.5) Sir Oliver (1.5) and sit Henry Rollins (almost 1).
They do homework, bake, and cook, and she said: "iIt's been really delightful actually." Her son loves being online on the computer with his friends and her daughter was even allowed to download SnapChat (only until life returns to normal) she and her friends laugh and giggle all day long about the most random things. :)
She said the most challenging part is thinking about the crushing sadness of the sick and their families. Katie is furloughed, but that isn't what makes her sad. She said sometimes she cries when she is alone thinking about the hardships some people are going through.
She thought that her son missing his 16th birthday trip to Hawaii and her daughter missing seeing Billie Eilish for her 12th birthday would crush them, but that they’re not even concerned in the slightest
<3 This family is an inspiring and optimistic one. I'm lucky to have met them during my Porch Project journey.
